Commune is a movement of artist, designers, musicians and people that take a stand against tobacco corporations, their practices and their presence in the art and music scene in San Diego, San Francisco, Minneapolis and Duluth. Commune isn’t against the smoker, but thinks the artistic scene would be better tobacco free. Commune’s goal is to inform people about things that Big Tobacco does or contributes that they normally wouldn’t support, like animal cruelty, deforestation and world hunger, but do so indirectly by smoking. Commune thinks the best way to convey its message is through art. Check out some of our favorite anti tobacco art pieces in the Artist Poster section of the site.
