Weekly Dig May 15 - 20
RVIVR w/ Intreprid Hearts & Contentious - May 15th @ Triple Rock Social Club
Mondays are for moshing. We’re pumped for RVIVR to come through town alongside some of our fave MPLS punk bands, all playing one one rad night. We’re especially excited to see 4th Curtis, St. Paul's’ premier all-trans indie pop band. These babes are raw, honest, supportive and are sure to keep this show super real.
Free Yoga Northeast - May 16th (& every Tuesday) @ Logan Park
Every Tuesday at Logan, Tatum Fjerstad leads a FREE outdoor yoga class. Work off that pizza and beer you ate last night with a sun salutation or two. Open to all levels!
Tunde Adebimpe ‘A Warm Weathered Ghost’ - May 18th-20th @ Liquid Music and Walker Center
TV on the Radio’s Tunde Adebimpe presents a brand new solo project - ‘A Warm Weathered Ghost’. Where are our super vibey babes at? This show is for you. Adebimpe puts together poetry, swirling melodies and trippy visuals to create this powerful piece.
Ladies Night w/ Caroline Smith - May 18th @ Icehosue
Our favorite Minneapolis lady is back! If you’ve been following Caroline at all, you’ll know she’s been all over these past few years. Her album ‘Half About Being a Woman’ was huge and she’s been on tour for a little while now, but she’s BACK to host a DJ Set with Sophia Eris at Icehouse. For only $10, you can shamelessly celebrate Ladies Night with the two baddest bitches in town.
COMMUNE BABES - Strange Relations
Back when Strange Relations headlined Commune at Icehouse in September, we saw them as a power trio, 2 ladies and 1 dude. Nate has officially left the group as of a Facebook announcement posted last week. That being said, these ladies definitely aren’t holding back. They have a new album coming out soon, and are playing the last shows of the tour this week. Super pumped to see where they go next. Super proud of this Dreampop Duo.
